The Trail of History and Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation invite you to an exciting community celebration—the Mecklenburg 250 Festival—as we honor the 250th anniversary of Captain Jack’s legendary ride to Philadelphia

Our mission is to recapture and preserve the significance of key people who contributed to the history, growth, and development of Mecklenburg County by erecting larger than life representative statues along the urban section of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.
